Women in Health and Business: Byron Run Club’s Inspiring Community Event in Bangalow

In March, I had the opportunity to capture a special community event hosted by Byron Run Club at the beautiful Studio You & I in Bangalow. The evening was all about connection, inspiration, and celebrating women in health and business.

The event brought together a panel of three incredible women who were Kallie Hunter, Nikka Holt, and Alice Baquie. All these women are successful in their own fields and with stories worth sharing. Each spoke candidly about their journeys, the challenges they’ve faced, and the lessons that have shaped their businesses today. Hearing them speak so openly created such a safe and inspiring space for everyone in the room.

Before the talks began, Aus Lockhart set the vibe on the decks while Mellows provided drinks. The atmosphere was buzzing with energy and warmth as guests mingled, caught up with friends, whilst others made new connections.

One of my favorite parts of the night was the audience Q&A, where guests could ask the panelists questions directly. It was intimate, authentic, and exactly what community driven events should feel like. The setting created a space of learning from each other and leaving with something valuable to take into their own lives and work.

For me, it was more than just another event to capture. It was a reminder of how powerful community can be when people come together with shared values and a willingness to support one another. Byron Run Club is all about fostering that sense of belonging, and this event couldn’t have reflected that more perfectly.
