A Love Filled Day at Earth House: Eliza & Scott’s Wedding

The night before Eliza and Scott’s big day, I did what I always do — a little ritual of preparation. Devices on charge, portable chargers packed, gimbal ready, and my iPhone cleared for plenty of storage. There’s something about getting my gear organised that always builds my excitement.

Morning
The morning air in Clunes was fresh, with a soft drizzle falling over Earth House. Guests and bridal party filtered in, hair and makeup chairs filled, and slowly the buzz of the day began. By mid-morning the rain eased, and as if it were timed perfectly, the clouds opened just in time for Eliza to walk down the aisle.

Before the Ceremony
I spent those early hours capturing tender little moments. Eliza laughing with her girlfriends, a quiet hug from family, the anticipation that only a wedding day can bring.

The Ceremony
As guests took their seats, I made my way down to the ceremony space. Scotty stood at the front, waiting. When Eliza appeared, the look on his face said everything. Their vows were beautiful and heartfelt. Those words surrounded by a space full of love and warmth.

Golden Hour Magic
Once the ceremony flowed into reception, the atmosphere lit up with chatter, clinking glasses, and snapshots being taken in every corner. Later, as the sun began to dip, we walked up to the paddock for couples’ photos. While Joey & Natalie photographed the newlyweds, I documented all the in-between. The laughter, the glances, the little movements that say so much without words.

Reception
Back at the venue, the party began in full swing. A champagne tower kicked off the celebrations (it always gets the energy flowing), followed by heartfelt speeches, cake cutting, and food that had everyone smiling. The space was alive with joy, and there was always something to capture. From dance floor bursts to quiet conversations in the corner. For me, filming behind the scenes at weddings is so fun. Every second holds a story waiting to be remembered, and this day for Eliza and Scott reminded me exactly why I love what I do.
